American Electric Lighting is recalling 900 Street lights fixtures because of a shock hazard.
The company says the problem is a result of improper wiring.
The recall involves model AVL Outdoor lighting fixtures sold under the American Electric Lighting brand name. The light fixtures are intended for use in parking lots, roadways, commercial environments and office communities.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission urges consumers to disconnect the power and schedule a free repair with American Electric.
